The issues of inefficiencies in infrastructural development is gradually gaining momentum as Delta State have their own share.
Few Months ago it was recorded that a bridge in Uzere, in Isoko South Local Government got collapse leaving few person injured and no death was recorded as the road wasn't a busy one.
The incident was related to some ancestral believe of the land, claiming their gods were angry then.
Now yesterday 6th November, 2021,the bridge linking Ugbolokposo and Okoribi in Alegbor area in Effurun, Delta State collapse leaving several injured.
Reports report gotten from our source, a delta base twitter influencer (@wakajugbe) is that the bridge collapsed during the downpour in the evening.
Residents of the area are blaming contractors for using cheap materials, while other social media users are blaming the government of the day. See reactions below.
